A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Some of ours are needed for the site to work. The rest help us understand how the site is used, and those are only set if you say yes.

Cookies the site needs

These are always on, because the site can’t work without them. None of them is used for advertising.

  • Your session, which keeps you signed in and remembers your checkout as you move between pages.
  • A security token that stops other sites submitting forms in your name.
  • Your currency and language, if you choose them.
  • Your cookie choice, so we don’t ask you again on every page.

Cookies that need your permission

Nothing in this group is set until you press “Accept” on the cookie banner.

  • PostHog analytics (hosted in the EU) shows us how people use the site, so we can make it easier, especially the checkout. It can record visits as anonymous replays. Anything typed into a form is hidden from those recordings, and card details are entered into Stripe’s own secure box, which recordings can’t see.
  • Google Ads sets a cookie that tells us whether you reached us from one of our adverts, so we can keep the adverts that help people and stop paying for the rest.

Changing your mind

  • On your first visit, choose “Accept” or “Decline” on the banner. If you decline, no analytics or advertising cookie is set.
  • Later, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again so you can choose differently.
  • In your browser, you can block or delete cookies altogether. The site may not work properly if you block the ones it needs.

Our privacy policy explains what we do with personal data.
